KA2 – Strategic Partnerships in the field of Youth

PROJECT

Grandpa Tell me More is a project about intergenerational learning and dialogue developed by Psientífica (Portugal), AR Vocational Education and Training Ltd (United Kingdom), Ilmiofuturo (Italy) and Asociacija Apkabink Europa (Lithuania)

GOALS

1. Create a new communication channel among youth and elderly people.

2. Equip youth workers, leaders, trainers and coaches with knowledge, methodology and skills to cope with intergenerational learning and development.

​

3. Create an entrepreneurial spirit among the youth to become more responsible socially and more active citizens.

​

4. Create conditions and strengthen communication for youth and youth workers to become leaders who would focus on intergenerational issues and solutions within local communities.

​

5. Build a network of European Youth who work in NGOs who will share best practices.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES

Training Course

In Portugal, between 6 and 12 November 2016. It will focus on intergenerational learning and the methodologies to be used in the sessions developed between the youth and the elderly.

Sessions

In all partner countries. They can adopt different themes, such as hobbies (poetry, arts and crafts, singing, playing musical instruments); dating / marriage; music, movies; kitchen; everyday life (relationship with poverty, traditional games, etc.); education (school and relationship with -Rules family, etc.); board games; volunteering; etc.

Blended Mobility
Final Exhibition

All countries cooperate in the development of monthly tasks on the platform, with a moderator. The Youth Exchange will be held in Portugal from 16 to 23 July 2017.
